Submission Guidelines:
We are now accepting articles for submission to our NouveauWriter E-zine. Please read our past articles to get an idea of the content we are looking for in the different sections of our publication.
NouveauWriter is committed to helping new writers who aspire to become successful, published authors. It features articles that tackle the various issues that writers experience, and it offers its readers opportunities to apply their new knowledge. The goal of this e-zine is to assist writers, especially Canadians, to succeed in their endeavours and to give them the incentive to get to the publishing stage.
If you think you have an article or a series of articles that would be useful to our readers, please consider submitting. We are committed to publishing new voices and giving new writers a venue to publish their work. Please note we are not paying for article submissions at this time.
We accept articles with content appropriate for the following sections:
Feature Article: up to 750 words
This section has thought-provoking articles about the topic of writing, whether it is novel, magazine or poetry writing.
English Essentials: up to 500 words
Dedicated to helping our readers improve grammar, spelling, and the use of punctuation, this section features articles and tips to sharpen readers’ skills and to help them better master the English language.
Vocabulary Builder: up to 400 words
This section features tests, quizzes, exercises and word games to help our readers build a larger vocabulary, as well as easy-to-remember rules, hints and tips you need to know. In addition, we also explore the fascinating stories behind some of the words we use daily.
Publishing and Marketing: up to 750 words
This section helps writers become familiar with any topic related to publishing and marketing such as what publishing options exist for writers today and how writers can successfully market his or her literary work.
Important:
· Please reread your article before submitting. It should be carefully checked for clarity, conciseness, correctness of grammar, spelling, and typographical errors. We will not accept poorly written articles. It need not be perfect, only well written.
· Remember quality over quantity. Articles that exceed the word count will not be accepted.
· You may provide your bio information and any links to your Web site or e-mail address at the end of the article. It must be brief. Two to three sentences will suffice.
· This is a Christian Web site. We do not accept any articles with content contrary to Christian principles or that contain malicious, vulgar, defamatory or discriminatory content.
· Please specify for which section you are submitting. Include the article in the body of your e-mail. No attachments. Submit to Laura Fabiani at laura@nouveauwriter.com with the words “article submission” in your subject line. You will receive a reply indicating that we’ve received your submission. We will also inform you if your article has been accepted for publication.
